Beautiful Golden Hour Maternity Photography Session on Pilot Mountain North Carolina

My dear friend Sarah is having a baby! In fact, she is due any day now.  These photos were just another level for me because this was my first time shooting on Pilot Mountain and this is my friend’s first baby! It has been a special journey for her. Just as she was accepted to grad school, she discovered she was pregnant. This has been a season of blessing and struggle and she has shown grace and strength that her son will one day be so proud of. These photos are a celebration of her – her strength, her beauty, her fierceness. This is also a celebration of she and her husband, Dallas. He has been so supportive of Sarah throughout her pregnancy and beyond excited to meet their son. 

Dallas and Sarah braved the cold and the wind to travel to the top of Pilot Mountain with me. When we were planning this session I envisioned this beautiful boho inspired shoot on the top of the mountain complete with a flower crown and Sarah loved the idea. I sent her some inspo that I had found and she ran with it. I sent our ideas to the amazingly talented Allison of Dahlia’s Floral Design in Clemmons and she crafted the most beautiful fall flower crown I have ever seen!
