Leata and Will have been together for several years 2020 wis the year they will be husband and wife! But of course, nothing in 2020 has been easy. This precious couple has faced several challenges trying to make their wedding day happen, even down to scheduling and rescheduling this engagement session! It almost didn’t happen on this day – rain was in the forecast and we weren’t sure if it was going to start pouring before we got to the park.
Thankfully, the rain held off and we were able to capture these wonderful memories. We started in the Bog Garden and then made our way through Bicentennial Park. I had already spent time with Leata creating her bridal portraits, so she was a little more relaxed in front of the camera. Will was a little nervous at first, but once he got warmed up – he was fantastic!
The lighting in the area was sooooo good.
We kept getting photobombed by geese from this lake!
They debated really hard if they should climb out on this giant fallen tree for pictures. I’m glad they decided to stay on the dock!
I love this ring shot because it has not just Leata’s engagement ring, but Will’s, too! Not many guys get engagement rings, but this one was very special.
