This roof top engagement session in down town Winston Salem was a fun way to get know Jessica and Chris, our engagement session giveaway winners!

Jessica and Chris are getting married in one month, so we thought it would be a great day to share their roof top engagement session from earlier this year. Jessica and Chris were the winners of our yearly engagement session giveaway. (Yes, we plan on doing it again for 2023!) We had a great time getting to know them during their session and their photo reveal. We are so excited for their wedding in just a few weeks!

Downtown Winston Salem is one of our favorite spots for engagement sessions. We have a soft spot for old school industrial architecture and the city has done a great job of revitalizing these old factories into community spaces. When couple’s ask us for places we love to photograph, this city is always at the top of our list. Jessica and Chris were very excited about having photos on the roof top, but we had to start at the so-fun Bailey Power Plant. These arches have become pretty iconic to local photographers. We love how they frame the subject so well and the lighting here is always a *chef’s kiss*. Right behind Bailey Power Plant is a parking deck with a great view of the city. That is where we finished up their session and caught the most beautiful golden glow!
