I don’t think there is a more dreamy, romantic location in the Triad for an engagement session than the Little Chapel in Winston Salem! This beautiful venue is where Courtney and Victor’s vision came to be. We had so much fun dancing through the tall grass!
Dreaming of Scotland
Courtney and Victor initially dreamt of having their engagement photos taken among the green, rolling hills of Scotland. The idea of lush landscapes, historic castles, and the breathtaking scenery of Scotland was incredibly alluring. However, the practicalities of international travel and current circumstances made this dream quite challenging.
After considering several local options, we decided that the Little Chapel would be the ideal spot to capture their love. This charming chapel, purpose-built by local artisans using 500-year-old English brick. It provided a picturesque and unique backdrop for their engagement session.

The Little Chapel is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Winston-Salem, perfect for your engagement session. Its stunning details, including exposed oak ceiling trusses, breathtaking custom stained glass windows, and two sweet covered porches hung with rustic chandeliers, make it a photographer’s dream.
The session began inside the chapel, where the soft natural light filtered through the stained glass windows. The beauty of the surroundings perfectly complemented the couple’s elegance and love for each other. Courtney and Victor, although initially feeling shy and a little awkward, began to relax and embrace the enchanting atmosphere.
Golden-Hour Magic
As the sun began to descend towards the horizon, we moved outside to capture the exquisite golden-hour light. The Little Chapel’s location amidst a vast open field provided the perfect transition. The lush green surroundings created a serene and romantic ambiance. It was impossible to resist the allure of love in the air.

At the start of the session, Courtney and Victor were a bit reserved. They weren’t accustomed to being in front of the camera, which is typical for most couples. However, we encouraged them with playful prompts, helping them relax and express their authentic emotions.
