Imagine the quaint, boutique Fleurish Greenhouse in Taylorsville, NC, transforming into a vibrant stage for a micro-wedding that encapsulates the essence of early summer. This isn’t just any wedding; it is also a celebration where every detail bursts with vivid colors. Pinks, purples, teals, oranges, and yellows – create a tapestry of joy and love. Welcome to a day where the decor is not just seen, but it was felt. The atmosphere is as lively as the palette it celebrates. With this in mind, we will unfold the colorful details of this unforgettable greenhouse wedding.
The decor was nothing short of a color explosion, setting the scene for an early summer wedding to remember. Our serpentine table, an intimate gathering spot for our beloved guests, snaked through the space like a river of joy. It is flanked by generous, towering florals elevated from the table courtesy of Antique Rose Floral. The flowers reached towards the glass roof like they were trying to snag a piece of the sunshine. This brought the whole color scheme to life.
No corner of this wedding was left untouched by color. The dessert table by LB’s Cakes was a masterpiece of hues. The cakes and sweets looked too good to eat, (but of course, we ate them anyway). The table settings sparkled with the same vibrant energy. An invitation suite from Alexis Scott Designs matched the vibrant palette and promised an unforgettable day.
And the drinks? Oh, the drinks! Thanks to Proper Pour Events, our champagne truck was more than just a place to quench your thirst; it was an invitation to toast to love, life, and everything in between. Not to be outdone, The Sugar Smith’s cotton candy cart served up fluffy clouds of joy, complete with edible butterflies – because, why not?
Some of our favorite things about this shoot were the DIY elements we incorporated. This confetti bar was created using various baskets filled with dried flowers. These dried flowers were an eco-friendly way for guests to share the love with the couple during their exit. With a mix of rose petals, lavender, and calendula, the scents of summer could be experienced throughout the greenhouse.
Another DIY element that added some whimsy to this Fleurish Greenhouse Micro Wedding was adding custom ice-cubes to the champagne cart. Next, we filled each tray with various colorful flowers and then added the water. Finally, once the cubes froze, we added them to our bucket of champagne.
Just as we were in the thick of setting up this technicolor dream, the skies decided to test our resolve. A severe thunderstorm rolled in, bringing torrential rains and winds that had us wondering if our dreamy setup might just take flight. But as if on cue, the storm passed, leaving behind a sense of adventure and a clear path to continue our celebration. The sun peeked through, smiling down on us as if to say, “The show must go on!”
Our bride was the epitome of whimsical elegance, draped in a gown from Fallen in Love Bridal that floated around her like a gentle breeze. Her look, perfected by Studio 22 Wellness, was feminine and ethereal, a fitting match for the colorful oasis surrounding her. The groom, in his tan suit from Bruces Tux, was the perfect complement to the bright palette, proving that love really is the best accessory.
