A romantic garden party summer wedding at the Bradford, inspired by the 2024 Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz? This is the wedding inspiration you need to plan your dream garden party wedding! With a warm, summer palette and the complementary hue of lavender, this shoot radiates elegance and charm. The Bradford’s timeless elegance and European style provided the perfect backdrop for our inspiration shoot. It offered a picturesque setting for capturing stunning wedding moments.
The Venue: The Bradford
The Bradford perfectly captures the quiet intimacy of the countryside while remaining accessible to the city’s vibrant activities. This venue offers a variety of indoor and outdoor options to host your event. From the garden-style terrace under market lights to timeless, spacious ballrooms, the Bradford provides numerous ceremony spaces. These include two lush manicured gardens, an organic backfield with a forest feel, the terrace, two indoor ballrooms, and the front of the house. For larger guest counts over 170, the Daugherty ballroom is an excellent indoor reception option. The terrace offers a magical al fresco dining experience for you and your guests. For events with over 200 guests, couples can place a tent in the backfield. This will ensure all guests are comfortably accommodated, even in rainy weather.
Additionally, the Bradford provides two separate getting-ready suites for the couple. It also offers accommodations are available on the second floor of the house with four additional bedrooms. Multi-day and full weekend rental packages, allowing couples to stay onsite for the entire wedding weekend, are also available.
Event Planning and Design for a Garden Party Wedding at the Bradford
Micah of Amore Planning played a crucial role in the coordination, table design, and styling of the couple. Micah’s meticulously planned and beautifully executed the table design. Rusted Root Rentals enhanced the ambiance with stunning lounge pieces. They also provided rattan lamps, pedestals for the dessert bar, and a charming cart for the bar.
The tables were adorned with velvet linens in lavender. Vintage china, copper utensils, and peach napkins, created an inviting and elegant dining experience. These items were provided by Party Reflections.
Cake and Dessert
Lori from LB’s Cakes designed two exquisite cakes, alongside other delectable desserts featured in the shoot. The cakes’ intricate designs and flavors perfectly matched the theme, adding a sweet touch to the overall aesthetic.
Bridal and Groom Attire
Gilded Bridal provided a breathtaking two-piece, organic pleated silk organza gown from The Law Bridal. Its modern silhouette and texture were ideal for a summer wedding in North Carolina. The Umbrella Bridal styled Alexis’s hair. Dark Hearts Makeup completed her look with professional makeup.
Amore Planning styled the groom, Adam, in a distinctive brown suit. The color choice was a bold statement and ensuring he was dressed to impress!
Invitations and Calligraphy
Jones and Lou Paper designed a beautiful invitation suite, blending peach and lavender hues to reflect our color palette. The invitations and escort cards were elegantly hand-lettered by Sowen Calligraphy, adding a personal and romantic touch.
Custom Cocktails Featuring Peach and Lavender
The Happy Bar NC crafted custom cocktails for our shoot. One was a hot honey peach margarita garnished with white peach and mint leaves. The other was a lavender gin sour with a lavender sprig garnish. These refreshing drinks were perfect for a summer celebration.
Artful Floral Design
Florals by Heritage brought our vision to life with stunning floral arrangements. They used our color palette to create beautiful centerpieces for the family-style table, arrangements for the dessert display and lounge, a fireplace installation for the ceremony, and a broken arch floral installation adorning the doors of the Bradford.
