When it comes to wedding color palettes, few combinations are as fresh and romantic as peach and lavender. For this bridal editorial, we drew inspiration from the Pantone Color of the Year, “Peach Fuzz.” We paired it with a lovely lavender to create a dreamy, feminine aesthetic that brides are sure to love.
Our inspiration for this shoot centered around fresh, feminine themes. We wanted to create a setting that felt light, airy, and full of life, with lots of bright florals, decadent desserts, and soft textures. The result was a beautiful combination of peach and lavender. We brought it to life through delicate details like velvet, lace, satin, and charming bows.
Choosing the right venue was essential to bringing our vision to life. The McAlister-Leftwich House in Greensboro, North Carolina, proved to be the perfect backdrop. This historic venue is known for its classic architecture, bright white walls, and abundant natural light. It was ideal for capturing the soft, romantic vibe we were going for. The timeless elegance of the house provided a beautiful contrast to the modern, vibrant colors of our shoot.
Ever Be Floral truly outdid themselves with the florals for this shoot. They crafted a stunning bouquet that combined our primary color of peach with other fresh, complementary colors, creating a harmonious and eye-catching display. The floral arrangements added depth and texture to the shoot, perfectly balancing the boldness of the color palette with the softness of the overall theme.
For the bridal looks, we partnered with Fallen in Love, who provided two gorgeous gowns that perfectly complemented our theme. The first look featured a classic white gown that exuded timeless elegance. The second look was more contemporary, with a purple floral print gown that added a playful and modern twist. Both looks captured the essence of our shoot—feminine, fresh, and full of personality.
No bridal editorial is complete without a touch of sweetness, and Lori of LB’s Cakes delivered in spades. She designed a beautiful cake that was as delicious as it was stunning, along with several other decadent desserts, including macarons that perfectly matched our color palette. The desserts added a luxurious, indulgent element to the shoot, making it feel like a true celebration.
Our model, Anna, looked absolutely radiant thanks to Brianna Leigh Beauty of Greensboro. The fresh, flawless makeup gave her a natural, youthful glow that perfectly complemented the soft, romantic theme of the shoot. With a light touch and an eye for detail, Brianna created a look that was both timeless and on-trend—perfect for any bride looking to feel her best on her big day.
