We couldn’t believe the day had finally arrived: Rachel and Josh’s October Wedding at Nana Mac Meadows! We first met Rachel and Josh at an open house at Nana Mac Meadows. This stunning venue has the most stunning views of Pilot Mountain. As they toured the venue, Josh approached us with a special request—to capture his proposal to Rachel. From that moment, we formed a special bond with this couple. It was a privilege to photograph Rachel’s bridal session. They contacted us to photograph their wedding shortly after.
Unfortunately, we were already booked for another wedding on their date. Our incredible associate team, Hope and Megan, stepped in to photograph Rachel and Josh’s unforgettable October wedding at Nana Mac Meadows. Knowing the couple so well, it was an honor for our friends to capture their love story on our behalf.
Brandy of Beyond Special Events helped Rachel and Josh plan the entire day. She not only coordinated the day but also brought her floral talents to create the stunning arrangements. Brandy’s meticulous attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly. This allowed Rachel and Josh to focus on enjoying their big day.
Due to mobility restrictions with some family members, Rachel and Josh opted for an indoor ceremony. They were still able to have a picturesque view of Pilot Mountain in the background. The fall colors on the mountainside were breathtaking, creating a vibrant, glowing backdrop for their vows. It was the perfect setting for their intimate and emotional ceremony.
Rachel’s wedding vision came to life through her beautiful choices in colors and attire. Her bridesmaids looked stunning in rich jewel tones, while Josh and his groomsmen wore classic navy. Josh’s tuxedo rented his look from Bruce’s Tuxedo in Lexington. Rachel’s gown was a custom creation from a Sophia Tolli design that she found at Fallen in Love. Her look was completed with flawless hair and makeup by the talented team at Salon Six.
After their touching ceremony, Rachel and Josh’s reception was a joyous celebration with their closest friends and family. One of the most unique and memorable moments was a special Greek dance they taught their guests. This added a fun, cultural twist to the evening. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner together. The couple’s cake, designed by To Your Health Bakery, was both stunning and allergen-friendly.
Rachel and Josh’s October wedding at Nana Mac Meadows was filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of fall. From the breathtaking views of Pilot Mountain to the personal touches they added throughout the day, it was a wedding we were honored to be part of, even from afar. With Hope and Megan behind the camera and Brandy’s exceptional planning and floral designs, Rachel and Josh’s wedding day was nothing short of magical.
