Taylor and Robert wanted a wedding that felt timeless yet modern. Robert Hall in Winston-Salem delivered the perfect mix of industrial charm and elegance. Its exposed brick, warm wood floors, and speakeasy vibe created a unique setting for their unforgettable day. Surrounded by breweries, performance venues, restaurants, galleries, museums, and maker spaces, Robert Hall offers a unique and eclectic atmosphere that resonated with the couple’s vision.
Robert Hall stands out among Winston-Salem’s wedding venues. This renovated industrial space blends historic character with contemporary style, offering a one-of-a-kind backdrop for couples. Its downtown skyline views, rich textures, and moody lighting make it a dream setting for modern romance.
This place isn’t just an event venue; it’s a celebration of the unconventional. The building features three distinct private event spaces, each with its own character, that can be used together or reserved individually. This versatility allowed Taylor and Robert to craft a wedding experience that was both intimate and dynamic.
The couple was particularly drawn to Capone’s Bar, located on the second floor. This 2,500 sq ft space boasts period-inspired tin ceilings, rich navy blue walls, and an authentic 1920s mahogany bar—said to have come from one of Al Capone’s hangouts in Bellemont, Michigan. The bar’s storied past and the room’s speakeasy vibe added a touch of intrigue and sophistication to their celebration.
Taylor and Robert loved its artistic murals and warm atmosphere. Events by Summer Joy brought their vision to life, while Abba Design added lush florals that softened the industrial edges.
With around 85 guests, Taylor and Robert shared an intimate, stylish celebration. The gift exchange was deeply emotional, setting the tone for the day. But the most unforgettable moment? Robert’s tears when Taylor walked down the aisle. The love between them was undeniable.

Robert Hall is known for its dramatic lighting, but with limited natural light, it required a thoughtful approach. The warm glow from the wood floors and exposed brick gave the space an intimate feel. To ensure every moment was beautifully lit, we relied on professional lighting techniques to complement the venue’s ambiance.
Taylor looked stunning in a classic A-line gown, which contrasted beautifully with the venue’s edgy details. The combination of timeless fashion and modern architecture resulted in breathtaking portraits.
