From Work to “Will You Marry Me?”
Gabrielle and Shawn met at work and quickly discovered how well they clicked. Over time, their friendship turned into something deeper—and eventually, a proposal that included their sweet dog, Ryleigh. He wore a custom bandana asking, “Will you marry me?” (Yes, we melted too.)
Their relationship is rooted in fun and shared passions, like their love for golf. And come October 2025, they’ll be tying the knot at Ballantyne Country Club. They will be surrounded by loved ones traveling in from Philadelphia and Indiana. It’ll be the first time their families are all together—making the day even more meaningful.

We started at the US Customs House, with its iconic architecture and soft morning light. From there, we wandered past the Charleston Market and over to Hibernian Hall. It is a timeless favorite with its grand white columns and classic Southern charm.
After a quick outfit change, we made our way to the battery, pausing for photos near the famous pink house. This is another favorite landmark for any Charleston engagement photographer. We wrapped up the morning at Battery Park. We clicked the shutter just as a sailboat passed along the harbor—like it was meant to be.
