When you recommend a photographer, you are trusting them with more than photographs. You are trusting them with your client relationship, the timeline you have built, the work of the creative team, and the way the celebration feels for everyone in attendance.
We communicate directly, handle photography-specific decisions with the couple, and come to you with clear recommendations when your guidance is needed. We respect the structure you have created and understand that the couple is your client first.
Our goal is simple: your clients feel cared for, your creative partners feel respected, and you know photography is being handled thoughtfully.
Josh + Alisha
Clear roles, responsive communication, and photography decisions handled without adding unnecessary work to the planning team.
We assess timing, weather, transportation, family availability, and access throughout the day, then bring you a recommendation without transferring pressure to the couple.
Questionnaires, family lists, family dynamics, permits, lighting, property rules, portrait logistics, and video coordination stay with us unless your involvement is truly needed.
Planners have direct access to both of us and typically receive a same-day response. Decisions are discussed together, so communication is never handled in isolation.
We begin with the master timeline you create, recommend where photography fits most naturally, and preserve your authority over final decisions.
Every Him & Her wedding is personally photographed by Josh and Alisha, except in an emergency.
Because we work together consistently, we understand how the other sees a wedding day. One of us can remain attentive to the couple while the other preserves family reactions, guest experience, property, and design.
The goal is not to create more photography time. It is to use the right time well.
We request at least ten minutes for each ceremony and reception space before guests enter, when the timeline and installation allow.
Coverage moves from architecture and complete rooms to tablescapes, florals, paper goods, signage, personal details, food, beverage, and the smaller decisions that complete the experience.
Images are created in wide and close compositions, with horizontal and vertical orientations that serve both the couple and the creative team.
Full galleries allow planners to evaluate preparation, design, family relationships, ceremony restrictions, guest experience, changing light, reception events, and the moments between them.
What a pleasure it is to work with Josh & Alisha! As a wedding planner in the community we have them on our preferred vendor list and love any opportunity to work with them. They're extremely thoughtful, artistic, and professional.
Him & Her carries liability insurance, provides certificates of insurance when requested, uses backup equipment and dual-card recording, and protects files through layered local and cloud backups.
We typically arrive at least 30 minutes before coverage and dress with the formality of the celebration in mind, so our presence feels appropriate rather than visually disruptive.
We work best with planners who protect the guest experience, value design and emotional meaning equally, communicate directly, and care about how creative partners treat one another.
Our best relationships are built through consistent communication, shared standards, and professional generosity across more than one celebration.
