Andrea’s Viking Inspired Maternity Session at the Upper Cascades at Hanging Rock State Park

Andrea first contacted me about newborn photos for their latest addition. As we were talking I suggested a maternity session. She was a little hesitant at first, but we started dreaming a little of what a maternity session might look like. Flowy dresses, flowers, and bows are NOT her style. “I’m not a typical mom,” she said. She wanted to do something bold and fun. The words “Viking-Inspired” were thrown around alot until a vision started to take shape.

Waterfalls were a must. She went to her stylist and requested this bold braid and cut-out. She had ordered a matching skirt for her bralette but was not impressed. She instead went with these too-cute maternity skinny jeans. Here look went from viking to bad-ass biker babe!
