Clarissa and James Celebrate their engagement at New Orleans City Park
Today, Clarissa and James will celebrate their wedding day in Daytona Beach. We were supposed to join them, but Covid caused us to change our plans. Since we can’t celebrate with them in person, we thought we could celebrate their wedding day on our blog by sharing their engagement session!
When visiting family in New Orleans back in December, we were so happy to find out that James had proposed! Josh has known Clarissa since she was a little girl. Their families have worked together doing ministry for years, so it was truly a blessing to be able to photograph their engagement session.
It was gloomy, rainy, and a little chilly, but we decided to brave the weather and head downtown to City Park. This is one of our favorite places in New Orleans. If you are ever there – please visit! There is so much to do, especially if you have children.
The trees in New Orleans are absolutely magical. I’m a sucker for Spanish moss.
After a quick wardrobe change, we headed over to the other side of the park. Clarissa, a Cowboys fan, and James, a Steelers fan, had a little…..premarital counseling to work out! I think they came to terms with each other by the end!
