Earlier this summer I was so excited to photograph Leata’s Bridal Session at Milikan Farms. Now that her wedding has passed, I can finally share these gorgeous photos!
Leata and I coordinated this session with her hair and make-up trial. This is a great tip I give all our brides when scheduling an bridal session. It allows you to really see your wedding day look all come together.
I was so afraid we were going to get washed out by the rain! I’m so thankful it held off until after the session. There was even a nice breeze keeping us all cool! On the way home, however, we all were caught in a huge downpour with some very intense lightening. When I say we pray for the Lord to hold back the rain during sessions, I’m not kidding!
The big red barn at the Farm is absolutely gorgeous! It made the perfect backdrop for her portraits and her rustic wedding in July.
Inside the barn the lighting can get a little tricky. The natural dark stain of the wood creates a very orange cast. Here, we used our off camera flash to fill in the dark shadows and create a more natural color.
We are so pleased with all the pictures of Leata and WIll’s wedding festivities! THANK YOU
