Waaaay back at the start of 2020, while we were a little younger and a little clueless about what was coming, we did a big engagement session giveaway. We gave away 3 sessions to celebrate 10 years of business. Alyssa and Nate were one of the winners! After their session, they contacted us and asked us to join them for their wedding day – which just happens to be today!
We instantly connected with Alyssa and Nate. Nate is so funny, and one of the sweetest guys we have ever met. Alyssa has the most stunning eyes and is one of those people you could just sit and talk to for hours.
Hanging Rock State Park is one of our most favorite places. We love photographing couples in all the beautiful corners of this place. From the peak of the mountain to the Lower Cascades, we love roaming all over this park!
For this session, we started at the Upper Cascades. It was so hot and the water felt amazing.
As we walked back up the trail, we stopped at the rock garden. I adore the black and white photos we captured here.
Before heading back down to the cars to drive to the next spot, we took a little detour to the lake.
Our final stop was the Lower Cascades. Other than the peak, this is the most popular spot for Hanging Rock State Park Engagement Photography.
I highly recommend Hanging Rock State Park for engagement sessions. It is a little adventurous, a little romantic, and a lot of fun! We have done a few other engagement sessions at the park to see more, check out the post below:
