Being the photographer at Emily and Levi’s Moore’s Springs Manor wedding was one of the highlights of out last year. They joy and love that radiated from this couple and their families made Josh and I feel so welcome. There are a million wonderful things I could tell you about this wedding, but I will try to keep it brief!
Moore’s Springs Manor is one of the most beautiful venues we have been blessed to photograph! We were able to join Emily and Levi for their engagement session at the venue in the spring. It was exquisite in the spring, but absolutely breathtaking at their wedding in the fall! The large manor house is the central feature of the property, but there is so much more. The property is dotted with barns, a cabin, a greenhouse, large reception hall, and well kept gardens. The view from the front of the house reveals the stunning mountain landscape that made the perfect backdrop for Emily and Levi’s ceremony. Emily told us she chose the venue because “We fell in love with it as soon as we found it. The people are amazing to work with but the best thing is the ceremony spot!”
Emily carefully chose each special detail of her wedding. We first met and bonded over her gown. I was at Southern Bride when she was there shopping with her family. She tried on my favorite dress in the store and it looked so perfect on her! She ended up choosing that dress and messaged me soon after for photography! This dress is absolutely amazing. The embroidered floral detail is so unique. The bridesmaids dresses came from Azazie, as well as the groomsmen’s’ ties. They fit perfectly with the burgundy, navy, and gold theme. Emily’s hair was done by Amy Watts and makeup by Savannah Bryant.
Jennifer of All Things Wedding, is also a family friend. Emily and Levi chose her to coordinate the day. She was also the floral designer and made the wedding cake! The invitation suite is a special design from Minted. All of the signage for the wedding was created by the bride herself! She worked many hours to created these beautiful custom signs. Finally, the catering by John Browns Grill. It was delicious! Josh and I had never had traditional North Carolina Chicken stew until then, but it was perfect for a cold November night! Emily’s sweet mama even sent us home with a few containers of leftover stew to take home to our girls!
There were so many sweet, special moments throughout this wedding day. Emily and Levi were surrounded by their best friends as they got ready. While photographing the girls downstairs, we could hear the boys partying (and singing!) away upstairs! The groomsmen were so much fun and had a great time cheesing it up in front of the camera.
Emily asked us to photograph a few special first looks, the first with her bridesmaids, then with her father and step father. During the ceremony, both fathers walked her down the aisle and we captured Levi’s tears as Emily approached. The tears didn’t last long, however, because as soon as they were pronounced husband and wife the party started!
