Tanglewood Park Bridal Session – Olivia is one of the sweetest brides I have had the pleasure of photographing! She is lovely, both inside and out. We had the best time with Olivia and Dylan for their engagement session and it was so nice to spend more time with Olivia. We planned her bridal session to coincide with the blooming trees. This was very important to Olivia, not just because of how beautiful they were, but also because she has a special relationship with flowers. She studied horticulture and worked as a florist during college. I was genuinely impressed listening to Olivia identify every flower in her bouquet and every tree in the park.
Olivia’s bouquet was thoughtfully designed by Dish Garden Art. It was full of big, beautiful blooms in pink, coral, and orange. Olivia’s Dress is by Morilee and she purchased it at Lasting Impressions of Lexington, NC. She told me that she loved this dress because of the beautiful floral details and A-Line silhouette.
Tanglewood Park is a local park in Clemmons, NC. We chose this location for her bridal portraits for all of the lovely blooms. We started at the arboretum and gardens behind the Manor House. From there we found more blooming magnolia trees near the golf course and used them to frame Olivia’s graceful face. Near the golf course is also a small, historic chapel known as Mt. Pleasant Church. Weddings have been happening at this beautiful church since 1809. We were able to capture a few beautiful photos here. These were a favorite of Olivia’s mother! Finally, we found a small field of tall grass, a special request of Olivia’s. Tanglewood Park is on of my favorite locations in the Winston-Salem area as a photographer because there are so many options!
