Last June I had the pleasure of second shooting with Jenna DiPrima Photography at this beautiful Mocksville Summer Wedding at the Triple J Manor House. This was one of those weddings that reminds me why I love photographing weddings so much.
Every detail reflected Sophia’s sweet, feminine style.
Kohl’s and his groomsmen were so kind and joyful. Their navy suits were the perfect complement to the bridesmaids’ sage green dresses and pink florals.
Sophia and Kohl’s ceremony was a wonderful reflection of their strong faith. Every element was an intentional choice and an act of worship for the couple.
Sophia and Kohl’s reception was a celebration of tradition and family. This entire day was truly the melding of two families. It was so beautiful to watch them continue on the legacy their parents and grandparents had begun generations ago.
And speaking of grandparents, I could go on and on about this beautiful couple, but especially Sophia’s grandfather. Sophia’s family is German. As she and her father danced to Edelweiss from The Sound of Music, her grandfather sang along. Later, I had the absolute pleasure of listening to him tell about his life and experiences as a young man. He described how he fled Nazi Germany by jumping off a train, and how he had supported Poland as they rebuilt after the war. Of course he and his wife won the anniversary dance, celebrating such a long and beautiful life together.
