Casey and Andrew’s sunrise engagement session at Old Salem was a memorable one. The couple wanted to capture the natural beauty of the historic town. The early morning light provided the perfect backdrop for their shoot. As we celebrate their wedding today, we are also looking back to this fun experience that celebrated all of the things they enjoy with each other.
When we arrived at the location, we were greeted with thick fog that enveloped the streets. Despite the fog, the streetlights and the falling red and yellow leaves created a warm and cozy atmosphere. It made it feel like we were walking around New York City!
As we walked around Old Salem, we captured the couple in different locations, including the historic buildings and gardens. The early morning light created a soft and romantic feel to the photos. It perfectly captured the love and affection between Casey and Andrew.
The couple was eager to add their unique personalities to the shoot. They brought their favorite board game, Scrabble, and we captured them playing a game on a picnic table. This was a fun way to show their playful side and incorporate an activity that they love to do together.
In addition to Scrabble, Casey and Andrew brought their Carolina football jerseys. The also brought a football for a little scrimmage during their session. They wanted to show their love for their favorite team and their passion for the sport. It was a great way to add a touch of fun and excitement to the shoot.
Throughout the session, Casey and Andrew’s love for each other shone through. They were natural in front of the camera and brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the shoot.
