Kate and Gage braved the frigid mountain air to hike to the summit of Hawksbill Mountain for their Engagement Session in November

Kate and Gage chose the breathtaking views of Hawksbill Mountain for their engagement session. This adventurous couple just finished medical school and will beginning their residencies. Kate will be pursuing a specialty in OB/GYN and Gage will begin his residency in general surgery. They chose North Carolina as their destination for both their engagement session and their upcoming wedding.

Hawksbill Mountain – a Breathtaking Location for an Engagement Session

Kate and Gage, true lovers of the outdoors, yearned for an engagement session that embodied their adventurous spirits. Hawksbill Mountain, known for its scenic beauty and panoramic views, proved to be the perfect setting for their desires. To reach the summit, there is a 1.5-mile round-trip hike. The hike climes 700 ft to the top for a total elevation of 4,009 ft. This was my first time hiking Hawksbill Mountain, and though it presented its challenges, the rewards were beyond measure.

Hawksbill Mountain served as a metaphor for Kate and Gage’s love and their journey ahead. Just as reaching the mountain’s summit required perseverance and determination, their love was built on a foundation of unwavering commitment and shared dreams. The trials faced on their ascent mirrored the challenges they would conquer together throughout their lives.
