Nicole and Jordan’s Engagement Session at Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing an engagement session in uptown Charlotte recently, and let me tell you, it was pure magic! From the moment we started at the District Attorney’s office to the serene beauty of Marshall Park, every moment was filled with love and joy.

A Hidden Gem: The District Attorney’s Office

We began our session at the District Attorney’s office, and oh my goodness the light was dreamy! The building’s federal-style architecture with those grand columns and golden doors gave off an air of sophistication and romance. As Nicole and Jordan walked down the steps to the open area, the sunlight embraced them in a warm, golden glow, creating the perfect ambiance for capturing their love.

The couple looked absolutely stunning and so in love against this classic backdrop. I loved their outfit choices! Their genuine smiles and affectionate glances made my job as a photographer an absolute delight. We had so much fun exploring different poses and playing with the light to create those dreamy, timeless shots.

Marshall Park: Our Favorite Location for an Uptown Charlotte Engagement Session

Once we had captured some truly enchanting moments at the District Attorney’s office, we headed over to Marshall Park, just a short stroll away. We made it just in time for golden hour!

The best part of Marshall Park was the breathtaking view of the Charlotte city skyline in the background. It was like the city was putting on a show, offering its own backdrop to the couple’s love story. We took advantage of the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere to capture some candid shots that truly reflected the couple’s personalities and connection.

The couple was radiant, and their love for each other shone through every frame. From romantic poses under the trees to playful moments by the park’s edge, we made memories that will last a lifetime.

As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better day or a more perfect couple to work with. Uptown Charlotte provided us with a dreamy canvas, and the District Attorney’s office and Marshall Park made it even more special.
