Victoria had always dreamed of having her wedding in autumn at the Barn at Heritage Farm. As she put it, “This place has been my dream venue since the first time I saw it years ago. It is close to our family farm and church. I love the rustic feel of the barn as well as the large window in the front with a spectacular view of the mountains in the back.” The venue’s proximity to cherished locations held a special place in her heart. It made it the perfect choice for their autumn celebration.

Groom’s First Look at the Family Farm

Cody’s journey to the wedding day began at the nearby family farm where the couple had their engagement session. The sentimental significance of the location made it the perfect choice for their first look. We also took a majority of their portraits at the farm. The warm hues of the autumn leaves and the radiant sunset painted a picturesque backdrop for their photos.

We’ve captured countless weddings, but have never had the pleasure of witnessing a groom as giddy as Cody on his wedding day. His sheer joy and excitement were infectious. It was a testament to the deep love and happiness that Victoria and Cody shared.

Autumn’s Splendid Palette and Nature-Inspired Florals by Olivia

The venue was adorned with the rich, warm colors of fall, with burgundy taking center stage. The decor echoed the season’s splendor, adding a rustic touch that seamlessly blended with the venue’s charm.

Victoria’s sister, Olivia, took on the role of the florist for the day. She crafted a stunning bouquet that perfectly complemented the couple’s love for nature and hunting. Chasing the Dream Sunset Ceremony

Victoria’s dream included a sunset ceremony, a vision that posed lighting challenges for the day. To overcome these challenges, we helped the couple scheduled a first look. This enabled us to capture most of their portraits before the ceremony. We also used a well-placed flash setup during the ceremony. This allowed the natural light from outside to seep through the large window. After sunset, we relied on creative flash techniques to capture final portraits during blue hour.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed delicious food by 13 Bones Barbecue. The joyful celebration that followed was a testament to the love that surrounded them on this special day.
