Michael and Ashley chose to legally marry during the pandemic. However, they didn’t want to miss out on the full wedding experience. This celebration was not only a testament to their love. It was also a chance to honor the bride’s heritage and share their joy with family and friends. The first day was marked by a vibrant and colorful African ceremony, a nod to their cultural roots. The second day, however, was a classic, elegant affair—a Black Tie Wedding at the Mint Museum Charlotte.

The CLUXE brought Evelyn’s vision to life with their beautiful florals and rentals. The room was filled with bold, romantic details that perfectly matched the sophisticated black-tie theme.

Capturing Memories: Portraits and Uptown Charlotte

One of the highlights of the day was taking portraits on the museum’s terrace. The terrace provided a stunning view, and the soft evening light made for some truly magical photos. After capturing these moments, we hopped on a bus with the wedding party to a second location for more portraits in Uptown Charlotte. The city’s skyline and urban backdrop added a dynamic contrast to the classic elegance of the day.
