Nana Mac Meadows is a gorgeous new venue in the foothills of Pinnacle, NC and the perfect venue for an autumn wedding. The first time we came to visit, the venue blew me away with its breathtaking view and upscale design. We partnered with Nana Mac and a few other of our favorite vendors for this shoot. Our goal was to create content that captured the potential of this venue and cast a vision for future brides. The golden mountains and warm color tones of fall are the inspiration for this shoot. We created an aesthetic that felt both feminine with organic shapes and velvet, but also masculine with bold details and leather.
Florals are an important part of the design process. We chose dahlias, roses, eucalyptus and lotus pods. in warm tones that felt like cinnamon and clove. The sweetheart table has a central floral arrangement designed by Brandy of Beyond Special Events. She also designed the beautiful bouquet.
Each place setting included a leather charger with navy blue plate and mustard yellow bowl. The linens were plaid napkins with copper napkin rings. Each setting has a handmade leather bride and groom name tag. Each setting also has a dark green glass goblet and a copper mug for Moscow Mules. Twice Loved Vintage, LLC loaned us the furniture and details for the shoot.
The menu and invitation suite are handmade by me! It was my first time designing an invitation suite. I used the colors from the florals and included the copper leafing found throughout the design.
Chanel of Crazy for Cakes LLC designed the wedding cake. She is a talented cake artist and makes some of the most delicious desserts I have ever eaten! White and navy fondant cover the cake. She added beautiful copper leafing and floral touches, including blue thistle and yellow Craspedia.
The bride wore a beautiful long sleeve gown from Fallen in Love Bridal. It was designed with delicate embroidery resembling softly falling leaves. Blush and Beauty NC was our hair artist for the shoot. The groom wore a navy plaid, slim-fit suit. His bowtie and boutonniere were made of feathers. Feather accents can be seen throughout the florals.
