Jason and Jill also wanted their photographs to reflect the energy of the celebration itself.

They gravitated toward vibrant color and wanted the final gallery to remain predominantly in color rather than relying heavily on black-and-white imagery. That suited this wedding beautifully. The coastal blues, warm skin tones, evening light, custom details, and changing colors around the property were all part of how the weekend felt.

Our approach was to preserve that sense of place while still keeping the people at the center of the photographs.

Because ultimately, the beach was not the story.
