Appalachian Conference Center Wedding: Ashley and Dallas | Blacksburg Wedding Photographer

While we mostly photograph in the Carolina’s these days, we love going back home to Virginia for our wonderful clients and their gorgeous weddings. I still consider myself a Blacksburg Wedding Photographer. I grew up in those mountains. I still scream GO HOKIES! and my favorite colors are burgundy and orange. I am a SWVA girl through and through.

Ashley is also a SWVA girl, born and bred. She and Dallas held their wedding at the beautiful Appalachian Conference Center in Dublin, just outside Blacksburg.

The bride wanted to wait for Dallas to see her walking down the aisle for the first time, but that didn’t stop her from having a first look with her bridesmaids and her children.

Can you believe this are actually silk florals!? They were designed by Ling’s Moment!

Like mother, like daughter! We were honored to capture this sweet family.

Her dress is by Jerald Norton and she got it on Amazon! This is what she said about her dress:

“I feel in love with a dress almost identical to this one before I even tried it on, I found a shop that had the dress, went to try it on and sure enough it was the one, but it was not in my price range! I came across this one on Amazon for waaay cheaper and momma taught me how to bargain shop even for my wedding!!”

Ashley and Dallas chose the most lovely, romantic shades of burgundy red and blush pink for her color palette. And yes – the colors were a big deal for Dallas, too! Ashley told us he was a little bit of a Groomzilla!  We also love a classic grey suit! This one is from Garrett’s Inc.

Dallas’s reaction was so precious when he saw Ashley coming down the aisle. He was overcome with emotion and couldn’t hold back the tears when he saw his beautiful bride.
