Oh my goodness! I am so excited to share these photos!
Caitlin and Jeff’s Wedding at Rumbling Bald Resort has been one of my most favorite weddings so far this year!
The color palette chosen for the wedding was a classic blue/green/white combination. This color scheme went perfectly with their lakeside venue.
Caitlin and the ladies got ready at an adorable lakeside cabin just down the road from the venue. They were so fun to work with and so stunning!
Jeff and Caitlin decided to do a first look before their ceremony. We are always a big fan of the first look, mostly because it allows us to be more flexible in our timeline and it gives the couple way more portraits from their wedding day! It can also be a very intimate, special time for the couple, away from the rest of the crowd. Caitlin and Jeff chose to read a special set of vows to one another in private before the ceremony.
This was our first wedding at the Rumbling Bald Resort, but we hope it isn’t our last! We are so impressed with the breathtaking views! The waterfront gazebo makes the most perfect ceremony spot!
Caitlin also chose to do a first look with her father! If couples choose not to do a first look with one another, we always recommend creating a special moment like this for the bride and her father, or other special family members.

Their wedding cake was so classic and beautiful, but the groom’s cake was my favorite touch! R2-D2 in a tux?! How adorable! Tenika at The Cake Spot really outdid herself!
We are able to get all of the guests in one photo!
I could not have imagined a better sunset photos by the lake! We were able to grab them just as the sun crested at the top of the mountain. This light is so dreamy! We were able to get that gorgeous glow just before the sun went down.
