I am so incredibly excited to share this shoot with all of you! We styled and shot this Living Coral Fairytale Wedding just outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We designed this shoot to help highlight Pantone’s color of the year, Living Coral. Wanting to show brides a unique way to include this bold, flattering color into their wedding palette we chose a very warm color palette full of luscious greens and luxurious gold tones to highlight our coral color. We wanted this wedding shoot to evoke the feeling of warm summer sunsets and whimsical fairytale evenings.
This was an absolute labor of love by several amazing Frendors that chose to collaborate with us to make our vision come to life and I can’t wait to highlight them below. I also need to take a moment to speak about our wonderful models that were a part of this shoot. Our bride and groom, Kasey & Johnathan, and our bridesmaid and groomsman, Tyler and Kristina have both been married for several years and have withstood the trials of life together – their marriages all the stronger for it. Like us, they believe in marriage and love that holds-fast through the storms of life. When they came on board for this shoot I was so thrilled because I wanted this to be a special opportunity for them to make memories together and reignite the spark in their relationship. I always try to encourage our couples to take the time to remember why they chose each other.
We spent the afternoon setting up for this shoot so we could get the perfect afternoon light. All week I was so worried about the rain. If any of you lovelies are from North Carolina, you know that it has rained so much! I prayed all week for the rain to hold off and our prayers were answered – it was a little chilly and a little windy – but NO RAIN! We were going for a summer feel for these images all while shivering in the cold. All of our vendors were troopers, hanging in there with us through it all. Here is the list of amazing people who made this possible – I would recommend these ladies any day!
