First, it is beautiful. There is an amazing variety of plant life cultivated here. Spring and summer give way to stunning blooms and autumn explodes in color. Throughout the arboretum are plenty of spots nestled between the flowers and evergreens that make beautiful backdrops for those special moments. The evening light creates a beautiful glow through the canopy.
Second, we love the Tanglewood Park Arboretum for engagement sessions because of its proximity. Tanglewood Park is located right off Interstate 40 in Clemmons. Situated just outside of Winston Salem, the park easy to find and easy to get to. Entrance to the park is only $2 per car and parking is plentiful. For couples that want more variety in their session, there are other great locations within the 1,100 acre park that are perfect places to create memories including: the stables, the lake, the chapel, and the big red barn..
Kirsten and Dylan were married this year at the Longhouse in Stokesdale. Before we share more from their wedding let us go back to the first session we booked with them – their engagement session at the Tanglewood Park Arboretum. Kirsten and Dylan have an easy kind of love. You can tell how much Dylan adores Kirsten; especially the way his eyes light up when he looks at her. During their session, there were many moments when they forgot we were there. They began dancing together to their own music. It was beautiful.
